Dr. Sullivan has had excellent results with porcelain veneers as a cosmetic solution for permanently stained, chipped, or misaligned teeth. Dental veneers are unique because they require minimum drilling! Patented ultra-thin, porcelain shields are bonded to your teeth with a strong, patented adhesive. The durable laminates have been clinically proven to last 10-15 years without any discoloration! Although veneers generally require little removal of tooth enamel, the process is not reversible once the enamel is removed.

Patients who clench or grind their teeth are not good candidates for veneers because the thin veneer may chip or break. If you clench or grind, Dr. Sullivan may suggest a nightguard to be worn while sleeping, which can help minimize stress on the teeth.
